Classic Fondue

This was a challenge for me. I love a challenge. A dear friend asked for a fondue recipe, telling me that her friends from Switzerland made a fondue that was unreal and used all different types of cheeses. I immediately started my research and have ended up with what I think is a classic, delicious version. It does not use Kirsch, which is a liquor that apparently MUST be in fondue, but I used Port instead (mainly because it's what I had on hand/easier to find). This is certainly what I love best about cooking, which I think is similar to jigsaw puzzles. Tell me a recipe you've tried and loved, and let me try to figure it out.
