Abominable

I was so tired on Friday night that I thought for sure I'd be falling asleep during Pizza and Movie Night. However, this movie had other plans for me. It was so enjoyable right from the start, between the animation, the music, and the different themes throughout, I couldn't stop watching. A group of three kids are on a mission to return a Yeti to Mount Everest, keeping him away from the scientists that (of course) are up to no good, as the main character continues to deal with the loss of her father. There were many laughs and even more sweet moments. The scene where they come upon the Leshan Giant Buddha and Coldplay's "Fix You" plays in the background had me sobbing. Give this one a watch. I think it's a total crowd pleaser from young kiddos to teenagers, alike, and definitely adults.
